Hand dyed.

But not by me!

We went to a little festival in Buderim, held by the Sunshine Coast Indian community. We didn’t get there till late, so we missed out on the dancing – which was a shame, cause they obviously had alot of fun. There were rose petals and allsorts of interesting things all over the floor. We DID make it in time for some fabulous food (DH said they were the best samosa’s he’s ever tasted), and to get some henna designs painted on DD’s and my hands. I can’t tell you how excited I was about that – I’ve been wanting to get a henna tatoo for a very long time… it’s been like 10 years or something. In hindsight, I don’t know why I didn’t just buy some stuff and have a go online…

Trying to get a 3yrold girl who constantly fidgets to stay still and not smudge her tatoo was a challenge that we ultimately failed. But she loves her tatoo too!
