My Creative space…

It’s been quiet here in blogland. We’ve been naming the date and furiously booking things! Aside from this with 2 littlies home as usual, and the 2 bigger ones on school holidays there hasn’t been much shop sewing going on.

DS7 and DD3 were invited to a party, and so we put our heads together to decide what to give the birthday girl. I’d recently purchased a gorgeous felt crown from a fellow crafty mama with several recipients of it in mind (just can’t quite decide whether I can part with it…but it doesn’t fit me). I’d had a similar project from here planned since before christmas last year with the felt purchased and  stashed away, but it had just never got to the top of the “to do” list. But with this gorgeous crown inspiring us, we decided this was the project for the little lady. And of course, we couldn’t make just one for her.

The crown made by Helen is in the middle (not a great pic of it though) – you should go visit her blog here and take a look at some of her beautiful work.
