WIP Wednesday

Another week and only 1 post again. I could bore you with all the details of the state of my families health, but I shall spare you that.

The vast majority of my time has been pre-occupied both with learning new skills this week, and paperwork. My head has literally been hurting from both of these each night.

I have managed to sew together these squares that I bought in a pre-cut bundle  at my local quilt shop that included the wadding and backing. It’s the same collection as Ruby’s quilt – Ava Rose by Tanya Whelan (Ruby’s quilt is all pink though). I confess it’s one of my favourites. This is to be made into a little cushion for a friend of mine who’s birthday I’m late for. It is supposed to be sewn seams out and then clipped so it gets all kind of shaggy chenille looking.

I’ve also managed to cut that fabulous frog fabric into some pads, and hope to get some time to sew them tommorrow while the littlest lad is at kindy if I get some other “have to” paperwork jobs done.  I’m also knitting a Milo vest some night’s for Gannon.

I’ll be getting back to sewing like a demon soon, so that my store is well stocked for sponsoring the Nappy Hunt  next month!
